My New Basketball

Hi my name is Harmony and I have a new basketball . The colour of it is blue, red and white. It is a Nike ball. I got it so I can practise basketball. This ball is $12. It is a really cool basketball. I got this ball with my dad. I wrote my name on it so people know it is mine.

My Table

I love my table because I can see the big board and I can not talk to my friends. On my table we have some colouring pencils, glue and scissors. The people on my table are Lisa, Elijah, Josephine, Kalisi, Taytum and R,J and me, Harmony. R.J is opposite me and Josephine and Lisa are beside me. My table is so cool .

My Little Garden

At home I am growing a little garden and in my garden it has basil, fennel, carrot, Cherry tomato, radish, leek and eggplant . Out of all of them my 3 favourite are the carrot the cherry tomato and the radish. I water them 2 times a day. I got them all from New World. I am very happy that they are growing .

At school

At school our topic is Tonga, Samoa and all the Cook Islands. We are writing about our topic. In maths we are learning to do patterns. I love school because I love to learn new things and I can get smarter. My favourite subject is maths.

Maths Achiever

Hi my name is Harmony and I am a maths achiever. When you are maths achiever and you get an award. It is very cool to get. You get it on Friday at the end of the day. There are lots of people who have got the maths achiever. I love to get maths achiever because I know I was good. There are other awards there are 4 and one is a vote one. I am happy to get the award .

Hiwi The Kiwi

Hiwi the Kiwi came to Leabank Primary School. When we walked in he was singing a song. Hiwi the Kiwi sang beautifully and he was very funny and cool. Hiwi the Kiwi taught us about what to do when you catch a big fish and a small fish. When you catch a big fish you have to put it back in the water because it might be pregnant and you have to put back the little fish because it might be a baby and we can have it in the future. Hiwi the Kiwi said to bring a bucket of ice to keep the fish cool and if it's a salt water fish it can go off if it is on normal ice so you put a little bit of salt on it. You can keep safe by wearing a life-jacket. P.E

Today we did P.E. P.E is all fitness and jump jam. Today we did an activity, it was all piggy in the middle but it was not. You had to stand in a circle and then there would be a person in the middle and they would try to get the ball. It was so fun. loved it so much.

At the ICT

At the ICT we are learning  how to make different thing on scratch. It is so fun because we can make different patterns and designs. You can create your design in your own way. On scratch you have a character, it is a cat and you have to control it.

Olympics

At the Olympics you have to be very good at your sport. NZ has 3 golds 6 silvers 1 bronze. We are going to win more. It feels like I'm in the Olympics because I am  in the cross country race. Lisa Carrington is very good at rowing. The rings are joint together because the different countries are coming together to represent their country.

A happy day

When you are laughing so hard. A person says a nice things. When you say its going to be a good day. When I learn at school I am happy. I am happy when I play with my brother and when I sing.

On The 25 Of July

In the morning I got up and I got ready for school. Then I got in the car. My mum drove me to school and when we arrived I said to my mum I love you and I hope you have a good day. Then I got out of the car and I went to the pedestrian crossing and I crossed safely. Then the bell rang so I ran to Room 13. I learnt so much and it was fun. Then I went to after school care and my dad picked me up.

Swimming At St Cuthberert's School

On Thursday the 7 of July the year 4s went to St Cuthbert's. We went to go learn to swim and to be safe in the water. I love it so much and I think the other people did too. We jumped into the water and it was so warm. I love warm water. We got to get  a swimming toy and we threw the toy far. You had to find it and go under the water and grab it. We did it 3 times. We learnt to float and I love to float because you can be safe in the water. In the water we played Simon Said. It was so cool. Then we made a rip by holding hands and running in a circle and then we tried to run the other way and it was hard. Then we had to get a buddy and my buddy was Ruby. We had a bottle and Ruby had to go out of the pool and chuck it to me. Then we swapped and I had to throw the bottle to Ruby. It was time to get out of the pool and then we got change. Then we had lunch and it was yogurt, apple and fruit nuggets. I ate it all up. Then we learnt lots of things and coloured in and there were questions  and you had to pick one. Then you had to say the best answer you think and had to say why. Then we had another lunch it was yum. I loved it. I got a prize at the end. Then we got a bag of goodys. We went to the bus and had a photo. It was so fun. I loved it.

In Room 13 we do cool stuff and lots of subjects like reading, writing and maths. We do art and we have Feed the Need. It is so yummy. I like Room 13 because we have Miss Craig.

BFG

The BFG is a giant. In Room 13 we have a book about the BFG and a movie is coming. In the book of the BFG he has a big trumpet and a suitcase and Sophie is watching him. He is blowing the trumpet in the children's room and the BFG is blowing it. The BFG is so cool.

School

School is a place you can learn. At school you can learn many things like maths, reading and writing. At school you can get five yellow cards and then you will have one red card and when you get five red cards you will get a book. I like school.

A Hot Air Balloon

A hot air balloon is like a big balloon. They use fire in the top of the balloon. They float up in the air and are very colourful.

Keeping Safe

I feel safe at school. I feel safe at home. If I am scared I am not safe. To be safe you always need to be by a adult that you know. Do not be silly and mean to others. At school you can be safe by crossing the pedestrian crossing.

My Family

My family is big. My closest family is Cayleb,Tumamuko, Pidapy, Kandese, Datyon, Dliana, Toga, my dad and mum, my 4 uncles and 5 aunties, my two Nana's and two korus and one poppa. We all have animals. I have two dogs but one past. Tumamuko, Datyon, Dliana have one dog and Pidapy, and Kandese have one dog. My nana and poppa have two cats and my nana and koru have two cats too. My other koru has no pets. The girls in the family are the queens and princesses and the boys are the dragons. We are all maori. We all like to sing and fight, play sports and do more. Cayleb is 5, Tumamuko is 9 months, Kandese is 4, Datyon is 9, Dliana is 8 and Toga has past and he is 5. My family is so cool. I love my family so much.

Art is a cool thing to do. We are making a hot air balloon picture. It's going to go in the library. It took us a long time. I am happy we made it.

In Room 13 we are looking after an egg. My egg`s name is Charlie. My egg has a face and a bed. My egg hasn't cracked. I am hoping to win.

Instruments

I like instruments they make great sounds. You get all shapes and sizes of instruments.

I like the guitar and the keyboard, I would like to learn how to play a guitar and sing along with it.
Some of the songs I like to listen to have instruments in the background and if you listen close you can sometimes hear which instrument is playing like the drums and a guitar.

Instruments played right make wonderful sounds and great music I find it great and sometimes makes me feel happy and makes me want to dance.

A car has a motor and a key to make it start. My mum and dad car has a key to start their car but my nana's car is a push button starter. My mums car is a black Holden and my dad has a red Ford Telstar.

Also my dad has a really cool old school car it is a Holden VK.

I cannot wait until I am old enough to be able to learn how to drive my own car. I would like to own a muscle car and a ferrari red colour.

I enjoy playing team sports because I have a lot of fun with my friends.

I play netball on Saturday at Papakura for the Manurewa Marlins. My first year with them and I really enjoy it, my mum is the team manager. Also like to play sports and activities at school during break time.
