Hiwi The Kiwi

Hiwi the Kiwi came to Leabank Primary School. When we walked in he was singing a song. Hiwi the Kiwi sang beautifully and he was very funny and cool. Hiwi the Kiwi taught us about what to do when you catch a big fish and a small fish. When you catch a big fish you have to put it back in the water because it might be pregnant and you have to put back the little fish because it might be a baby and we can have it in the future. Hiwi the Kiwi said to bring a bucket of ice to keep the fish cool and if it's a salt water fish it can go off if it is on normal ice so you put a little bit of salt on it. You can keep safe by wearing a life-jacket.
